Welcome

This will be my first post for Global Community Against Gay Hate. Being a gay Hispanic man at 49 yrs I have seen a lot of progress and also many setbacks towards equality in the GLBT community and I have come to the realization that more work is needed. I live in the state of California and I am waiting for Proposition 8 to go to the U.S. Supreme Court for a final decision. If the State of New York can overcome the obstacles to Gay Marriage then the state of California hopefully will have the same outcome.
